Just wanted to let you all know of the newest strength gym in Kansas City. Most of the equipment is custom made and built extra strong. The Oly platforms are equipped with Pendlay bars and bumpers. It needs an MDUSA banner behind the squat racks.

Looks like a clean, no-nonsense setup for a number of strength disciplines, Oly and powerlifting included... nice. Bet it has that 'new-gym' smell, too!

Is there any chance of sponsorship? Any chance of coaches being there to help an athlete who really needs technical help? Will anyone from this area be going to the Onaga Kansas Meet july 7th? I am a 56 kilo lifter. I am gradually getting better everyday. I have been doing the Olympic lifts a little over a year. I actually came from a powerlifting background granted I only did USAPL Raw lifting for 11 months..
/e I live in Rock, Kansas.... South East of Wichita Kansas, and South of Augusta, north of Winfield. Very small place although my great grandpa lives in Kansas City... So i would have a place to stay when I went up and trained. I am a college student currently enrolled full time at Wichita State University, I am 20 years old Last edited by SkyIsTheLimit; 06-02-2012 at 12:39 PM. |

St. Louis, MO. Many gyms (coaches) don't facilitate Mr. McCauley's or Pendlay's style of lifting which is really what I'm after. I don't necessarily have a problem training at home in my family room under a cathedral ceiling...hahaha
