Default hollywood movie about weightlifting

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1239272/
apparently the main character in this movie was a weightlifter for south africa, never would i thought hollywood would make a movie about weightlifting.
main actors kevin hart (funny guy), nick nolte (i remember him from blue chips and the warrior) kim basinger (8 mile)
Maybe this will be the start of making weightlifting more mainstream in america. maybe future weightlifting movies will be made about greats like kaki, lu xiaojun etc. etc...

Precious McKenzie was born in South African, but ended up lifting for England/GB because South Africa wouldn't let him lift in the 1960 Olympics. He did 3 Olympics, and won 4 Commonwealth golds. There's a photo of him with my old club's head coach on the wall at my old club. Probably the most famous lifter ever to have competed for GB.

"hmmm... snatch clean and jerk? wtf is that? Bench press isn't in the olympics? I guess we'll have to bend a few rules to make this biography a little more dramatic and accessible. Lets get him in some posing trunks too."

This is a picture of Zoe Smith (UK 17yr old, 3rd place in Commonwealth games etc) from one of the big London evening newspapers. He's posing on a bench ffs.

I don't always sit on benches and pose for photos, but when I do, I make sure I wear my Maximuscle belt with the logo facing forwards!

I've met her. She's a very nice girl.
