My Nike Romaleos do not feel cheap, flimsy, or light (relatively) at all. They are thick and heavy. Feel extremely solid. I don't think I'll ever be buying another pair of shoes again unless these are stolen, damaged, or lost.

I have the Adidas in the link below (the new orange/red ones) and I freaking love them. i did order a half size smaller than I would wear in most shoes so keep that in mind.

the adidas ones. The nike are clunky garbage that I tried for a year before I went back to adidas. I have been through 7 pairs of adidas weightlifting shoes and they never have done me wrong....

Vouching for the durability of Nike: A good lifter at my gym has been using his Romaleos 1+ times daily for three years now, and hasn't even had a thread pull out of them. Certainly better than the Risto garbage I have.

For what it's worth, I couldn't decide between the two shoes based on internet reviews, so I simply bought both to do a side-by-side comparison. I coulnd't put any real training time in with both pairs because they had to be unused to return, but I ultimately decided I liked the Adipowers more and returned the Romaleos.
