Here Jon does 5 reps.......Coach Pendlay what are your thoughts of pushing that last rep after such a difficult rep. Is it beneficial for strength even if you miss it. Maybe, your muscles start to get used to it? Did Abadjiev ever comment on this as well.
Also, in terms of your conversations with Abadjiev did he ever mention nutrition? I always assumed that Bulgarians never really took this as serious. Would this be a correct assumption? Meaning, I'm assuming Bulgarian nutrition probably consisted on whatever they can get and they didn't try to "eat clean."
In terms of your lifters.....any of them take nutrition serious to the point of counting protein and calorie intake on a daily basis?
