asymmetry
in the squat my left ankle is more dorsiflexed, resulting in the knee being slightly lower than my left leg. i've noticed that chad vaughn does this, especially in his snatch. i'm not sure if its a leg length discrepancy or my slightly more flexible left ankle or some old injury. this is most pronounced when i squat, and not as much when i lift.
it magically goes away when i lift facing a mirror with no extra effort on my part. however, even when i make an effort to try to correct it when I am not facing the mirror it doesn't go away.
the asymmetry irritates me. my plan is to do an increased amount of lifting facing the mirror but i worry that this might become a crutch. any thoughts on what to do to correct it?
