When you refer to Complex 1 and Complex 2 in the "Training System for Beginning Olympic Weightlifters," does that mean just pick a few exercises and do them in a circuit?

For example, could I do 10 push ups and 5 pull ups 3 times for complex 1, and then something like 5 back extensions and the "death march" for complex 2?

Am I completely off here? It doesn't seem to clarify much on what should be done specifically in the complexes, or how it should be done. Is complex just another way to say assistance exercises?
