I have been experimenting with it. I have found a bad habit lately of not getting the knees out of the way during the first pull (I think due to the shoe inserts I have been using). So, I have taken out the inserts and am working on first pull deadlifts. I will be working on strength for awhile, but will be doing lifts from the hang on the program. I generally do not get bruised in that area, but I have not been consistent lately.
